Thompson Valves Replacement

We were called to this house to replace the valves on the manifold and we found the regulator valve not functioning and the thermal expansion tank diaphram ruptured. We froze the incoming water line with an electric pipe freezer. This enabled us to change the incoming valve. Then we changed the manifold valves, regulator, and added a bigger thermal expansion tank (since there are two water heaters) and also added a means to facilitate annual checking of the air charge in the tank. That was something the prior tank lacked. All the ball valves with the orange handles are USA made Wolverine Brass valves.
