This is the same job as the other cedar road radiator pictures, but this part of the job deserved its own page of pictures. The customer had large standing cast iron radiators in front of the living room bow windows. What she wanted was a window seat. We removed the standing iron and installed cast iron convectors. They are almost always installed behind covers as they are pretty ugly to look at. But they really crank out the heat. Once we were done with the plumbing portion, then Emery Remodeling (216-570-4998) did their customary excellent job of fabricating the custom radiator covers. There is a dial on the end of each cover that is a thermostatic control for each convectors steam inlet valve.
