The boiler pictured here was installed just a couple years ago by another company. They had piped it in copper and didn't follow the instruction manual in any way. We came in because of the high fuel bill complaint. The boiler was repiped as you see it now. We also fixed a sag in the steam main, and vented the end of the main with four Gorton #2 main vents. Before the repairs it took over 20 minutes for the steam to make the circuit of just the basement main. We have that down to 8 minutes and 20 seconds. Their fuel bills are considerably less now.
